Calvin Klein’s latest campaign has been revealed, reappropriate their previous American Classics campaign to launch the autumn/winter 17'/'18 Calvin Klein collection by creative director Raf Simons. The collection includes marching band uniforms, antique handcrafted quilting, workwear and western wear, as well as a new designer denim line, Calvin Klein Jeans Established 1978. A nod to the brand’s history, the focus of the campaign is nostalgic in every way. New British Vogue editor-in-chief, Edward Enninful, continues to add to his editorial team with iconic names in the beauty industry announced, as Enninful’s August start date draws closer. Amongst the new appointments is internationally acclaimed make-up artist Pat McGrath, who was today announced as beauty editor-at-large alongside Val Garland, Sam McKnight, Guido Palau and Charlotte Tilbury who have been named contributing beauty editors. Model Adwoa Aboah will join Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell as contributing editor while Poppy Kain will bring her campaign experiences with Stella McCartney and Marc Jacobs to her position as senior fashion editor.
In other news, Cara Delevingne is using her iconic face for good as she partners with Puma for their latest #DoYouStories campaign. The campaign is a docu-series focused on offering a platform for stories of female empowerment. Delevingne travelled to Uganda with the United Nations earlier this year, sparking her passion for sharing these stories.
"It inspired me to create this #DoYou docu-series with Puma, because I wanted to do more and I wanted to give women a platform where they could share their stories," Delevingne said. Speaking with women from Uganda, the US and Canada, the episodes will share the unique stories of female refugees, artists and game-changers with a greater purpose of raising awareness of the plight of these women and the programs and organisations working to help them.
