Players can collect Red Envelopes through playing online Matchmaking games.
Red Envelopes can be opened to give either 888 Kudos or 88 VIP Diamonds . This is called Lucky Money during the Chinese New Year since 8 is pronounced similar to 發 the first character in 發財 meaning wealth. Red Envelope drops are similar but separate to crate drops.
