Description[]
Oasis is a custom pvp map by Overkill2142. It is designed with flexible map openings. Outpost placement is intended to create different outpost/position "matchups". Forts are very close in comparison to official maps.
Creeps will go Power Station -> Factory -> Mid by the Factory, that is also your general map progression.
Map Features[]
Stasis mines placed around the map, helps to punish early all-in rushes (specifically vehicle death trains).
2 close outposts that are easy to clear, sockets favor econ.
The powerstation can be solo'd by the creeps, but requires 2 neutral jackals to be killed or a creep ferry.
Factory requires tanks with some mech control, not hard to take but not free either.
2 mid outposts that are fairly well defended, sockets are much harder to clear but make anchor spot to setup at later.
Mid is filled with longer range fixers, kill the bunkered inf for an easier kill on other neutrals.
2 tanks and 1 mech are still enough to out damage the healing the fixers give.
Lots of open path between outposts and forts that have some neutrals on them.
Will not be worth killing neutrals with starting units, but
Going neutral hunting starts becoming viable,
Mid game armies should be able to roll over the neutrals.
Every side/corner/close outpost has back paths behind buildings.
They can be accessed by sneaking by along the large ramps or ferring up the cliffs.

"Cheesy" openings
Cap the easy to take power station and then go for your opponent's factory instead of yours.
Works the other way too, grab your factory rush their powerstation, watch out for left over neutrals.
Rally flags set in the back paths of the corner posts.
Have units deployed from your corner post stock pile in the back section of the opponent's corner.
