Description[]
Misty Isle is a custom pvp map by Overkill2142. It has an emphasis on map elevation and positioning. There are 2 safe close outpost near each team's fortresses and 3 middle outposts for teams to contest with the total number of outposts being 7. Each outposts has many paths and various approaches to them.

Map Features[]
2 close outposts are really easy to take.
Sockets on your side of the map favor econ sockets.
Sockets favor turrets on the enemy side of the map.
3 paths lead off from each of your close outpost,
2 go to different mid posts
1 goes to your opponent's close
Triple mid setup with important high ledge spot between the mid posts.
High ledge is a chockey close to close path but tanks can setup to fire on both mids.
The center mid provides a clear path to approach both close posts but has 3 different angles that need to be covered.
Side post are similar but only go to 1 close and has 2 angles to cover.
Side post have "low clear" setups marked by skinny trees NW and SE, minimum 4 brutes kills to cap.
Side paths are tuned for easy drop harass or secret pushes.
The side post farthest from the fort can have units set to "attack fort" bypass the close
Side post closest to your fort works similarly but will drive by the backside of the close
Strategies[]
The map is intended to force the dominant team to spread out their units in order to defend everything.
Controlling the high elevation paths through mid pressures 2 mid posts and an enemy close.
1 of 3 mid rush, coordinate as a team to rush a mid early instead of setting up on a safer high path.
