Description

The Angel was originally only available to AirMech Prime owners in Beta 21163. Now it is available to all players who own either a variant or the base AirMech. The Angel is the second slowest AirMech after Paladin, but has the second highest unit carry capacity. The Angel's ground weapons are extremely weak but it is able to do high burst damage with its snipe. The Angel experiences a large power spike from level 7 and beyond once its ultimate ability has been leveled at least once.

Designed as a light-weight reconnaissance aircraft during the war, the Angel class AirMech is perfectly situated for quickly getting behind enemy lines. Equipped with a Sniper Rifle, the Angel can attack enemy units and AirMechs from distance with deadly accuracy. The Angel can also use its Glide ability to quickly dodge enemy attacks wile in Robot Mode, and can also use its Loop ability to doge enemy air defenses.

Description: [Angel Variant] Heart of the Void! The modified power source of this AirMech gives it a perfect black appearance with a silhouette that shimmers and glows with the pilot's team color. These variants can only be crafted by the Nanoforge. As with other Variants, all changes are just cosmetic and offer no gameplay advantage.

Abilities

(Ground Active) Sniper Shot

Sniper

This ability allows the Angel to use its Sniper rifle to devastate enemy units and AirMech from a distance. Once the ability is triggered, the Angel goes into Sniper mode. Whilst in Sniper mode, the Angel cannot move and the camera pans a little away from the Angel and towards the target. The sniper is modified by quick shot and railgun (both passive abilities).

(Air Active) Loop

Loop

Does a loop in the air that dodges weapon fire and temporarily breaks all missile locks for the duration of the loop. The mech cannot be hit while in a loop. Can not be used while carrying units until level 3.

(Ground Active) Glide

Glide

When activated, the Angel will glide over the battlefeild. The Angel can move through chasms and can dodge tank shots due to increases ground speed. However, while in Glide mode, the Angel cannot use its other abilities nor can it shoot.

(Passive) Quick Shot

Quickshot

Reduces the reload time of the Sniper shot, allowing for a larger DPS output.

(Passive) Railgun

This is the Angel's ultimate ability (level 7). It is a passive ability that significantly increases damage of the sniper rifle, as well as providing an increase to idle ground fuel regeneration.

(Passive) Guardians

Guardian

Builds the Guardian equipped in the loadout. Guardians revolve around their Airmech and provide functionality until they are destroyed. Destroyed Guardians may be replaced one-by-one by this command as well. The maximum number of Guardians permitted depends on the Airmech's current in-game level.
