- This AirMech is based on the F-14 Tomcat Jet Fighter (hence the Tomcat Striker variant).
- The Striker was originally named M-11 Icarus.
- Missiles do 124 damage on skill level 1, 166 damage level 2 and 210 damage level 3. (A direct hit, without modifiers, Build 14400)
- The Striker was the first AirMech to have new ground animations, which were added in version 15803.0
- The Striker is the first AirMech to have missiles.
- Alpha Striker was originally called the M-11A Alpha
