- The Helix is one of two AirMechs that have Missiles.
- The Helix was originally called the M-05 Chopper; before that, it was called the M-05 Helix.
- The Chopper was renamed to Helix to avoid confusion with future helicopter-type AirMechs (such as the Paladin).
