Description[]
Loadout slots allow players to customize the units they take with them into a match. Each loadout may contain up to 8 units each, but only 2 loadouts may be active within a single match.
Each player may unlock up to 9 loadout slots for a total of 10. 2 are provided free, 2 may be purchased only with kudos, 2 may be purchased for either kudos or diamonds, and 4 are diamonds only. Any purchased loadouts will carry over between board Strike and Wastelands.
Once a match has been started, the player may switch between the 2 loadouts by right clicking a unit, pressing Tab key (keyboard default), or right bumper (controller default).
A player may then select the unit by the corresponding number on the keyboard, clicking it, or using the radio dial selection with a controller.
AirMech Strike[]
When playing within AirMech Strike the player must select which loadouts to use at the start of each match during initial setup.
Additional loadouts may be purchased from the normal game Shop.
AirMech Wastelands[]
When playing within AirMech Wastelands, the player may select their loadouts to use while prior to a mission start by clicking the Unit icon on the side panel followed by the gear wheel icon at the bottom of the following window. Once selected, the 'Loadout Active' light will show blue to indicate that a current loadout is selected for use in mission. This will carry over between missions if not changed, though some missions have pre-set loadouts. Unit loadouts map also be changed while at the player's base or in a shop.
Additional loadouts may be purchased throughout the various Shops across the World Map after unlocking specific campaign missions.
