"Once a popular sightseeing spot located within a national park, this barren depression is now fought over for its mineral reserves and has been mined to drive off outside intruders."
Each side starts with a fortress that has 2 sockets. The closest outpost is occupied by 4 Soldiers, it is also defended by a Joker and a T45 on a socket. One of the next outpost is a neutral factory that is occupied by 2 Brutes and 2 SAMs, it is defended by a Gatty on a socket, 2 Flakker, and a Stinger on a socket. The other outpost is a neutral powerstation that is occupied by 2 Brutes and 2 SAMs, it is defended by an Armadillo, a Jackal, and a T45 on a socket. Between the first outpost and the center outpost are 2 Neutral Longhorns. The center outpost is occupied by 4 Brutes and is defended by 4 Jackals, 2 Longhorn, 2 HAAT, and 2 Seekers in total. Along the vertical middle line of the map, there are 3 T99's and 2 HAATs on both sides of the map. The map features various paths on different heights, the most often used paths are the center one through the center outpost and the outermost paths, the other paths are more visible and take longer to go from outpost to outpost.
Strategy[]
Both sides should be able to capture 3 outposts in about a minute. The closest outpost can be handled with just a mech, which gives enough time to build 2-4 tanks in order to use them to help capture the other outposts. At the factory, tanks can be placed to kill the Gatty and clear the outpost, the AA units will be no issue for them. At the powerstation, tanks can be placed on the high ground to clear the powerstation and then be used to clear the neutrals.
When both sides control 3 outposts, a standard midfight is done for control of the center outpost. 3 very spread out neutral Longhorns make it fairly easy to setup a tank line to approach the center outpost. Often backline outposts are targets for harassment and cheesing in this state of the game. Often backline outposts are targets for harassment and cheesing in this state of the game. Sometimes, players may choose to push down the outermost path as it has no neutrals on it, directly goes from outpost to outpost, and is one of the least visible paths on the map.
