Players receive a Chip when they are in the top 50 for a weekly leaderboard, such as PVP Wins or AirMech Kills. If they are first, they receive 3 Chips, and second place receives 2.
They are unsellable, but can be used in the Nanoforge to craft Bird Frame, Cardinal Bird and Parakeet.
