The Cardinal Bird was one of the few flairs/pets able to be bought with Kudos by any AirMech player. The Cardinal Bird is a hard to obtain flair/pet, mainly due to the fact it required an ELO score of 2100 or more, alongside with its relatively high cost, 21,000 kudos, which essentially makes it a "Kudos sink" for high level players who have way too many Kudos saved up.
Since the ELO score is now hidden, Cardinal Bird is awarded through Weekly PvP Leaderboards.
Trivia[]
The first player able to collect all three birds (Cardinal Bird, Canary Bird, and Larry), was Eddnamed, followed by MissMinx, Fedcomp, and iSaint. These players have been nicknamed the BirdKeepers by MrFiregem as a sign of extreme luck and skill, due to the extreme difficulty of attaining each bird individually, let alone all three.
