Description
Aerial attack drone. When deployed, this flying unit will automatically traverse the battlefield and attack enemy air and ground targets.
Characteristics[]
Bomber Drone is a unique unit that appears in select Wastelands maps. It slowly flies across the map shooting missiles at player units within its range. Once it reaches the Fortress, it circles around it until the Fortress is destroyed or the player's forces destroy the Bomber Drone. Unlike other units it cannot be captured via Saucer or resurrected via Necro.
Advantages
- Bomber Drone can fly over cliffs, chasms, units and outposts which makes it very mobile.
- It can only be targeted by anti-air units like HAAT or Flakker while flying.
Disadvantages
- Vulnerable to units that can still target air units such as infantry and Jackals.
Good Loadouts
- Works well in an air units loadout.
- Best used on maps with large gaps or cliffs such as Sandrim or Crater.
Trivia[]
- Bomber Drone was the first flying unit in Airmech.
- Currently it can not be bought nor captured making it the only unit impossible to own.
